FOR FOUNDERS WHO BUILT WITH AI

Your app looks finished. Will it survive real customers?

I find and fix the failures coding agents miss—broken customer journeys, hidden crashes, weak access controls, and release gaps—then prove your product is ready to ship.

THE PROBLEM I SOLVE

AI makes features fast. Shipping a dependable product is still hard.

A generated app can look impressive while important failures stay invisible. I focus on the customer journey that makes or loses money, then harden the systems around it.

01

It works—until the data is imperfect

One unexpected response crashes a page instead of showing a useful fallback.

RESILIENCE GAP
02

The tests are green—but customers still see defects

The test checks that code ran, not that the real result loaded and looked correct.

FALSE CONFIDENCE
03

The app has features—but no launch evidence

You cannot confidently answer whether the build, deployment, and critical flow are safe.

RELEASE GAP
04

More code keeps hiding the real risk

Agents add features quickly while access control, failure handling, and operations lag behind.

SYSTEM GAP
WHAT I DO

I audit, fix, verify, and document one business-critical flow.

  1. AuditDay 1–2Trace the journey and rank risks by customer and revenue impact.
  2. FixDay 2–4Correct the highest-value failures in the existing codebase.
  3. ProveDay 4–5Run the real interface, builds, and targeted browser tests.
  4. Hand overDay 5Deliver the fixes, evidence, and a clear list of what remains.

THE CUSTOMER-VISIBLE FIX

A passing test hid a broken referral moment.

The win card asked for logo files that did not exist. The old test checked the file name, so it passed while the customer saw a blank space.

The fix added real Foredawn assets and changed the browser test to prove each image actually decoded. That turns a shallow check into evidence of what the customer sees.

WHY IT MATTERS A winning customer can now promote the product with a credible, branded card.

THE LESS VISIBLE WORK

The fixes customers do not see are often the ones that protect the launch.

The assignment was not to rewrite everything. It was to close specific failure paths while preserving the product’s sensitive trading and payment behaviour.

01
RESILIENCE

Bad data no longer takes down the dashboard

Unexpected featured-market and breaking-news responses now fall back safely instead of reaching a crashing render path.

Found after the suite was green
02
OPERATIONS

Health checks finish within a known deadline

Database, cache, and provider checks run together and return a useful degraded result when a dependency stalls.

Bounded failure instead of waiting
03
ACCESS

An infrastructure tool moved behind admin protection

A public diagnostic became permission-controlled, rate-limited, validated, and time-bounded.

Useful internally, closed publicly
04
RELEASE

The pipeline now proves what production will run

Lint checks source without silently editing it, and the backend must compile before the release gate succeeds.

Clean source plus compiled artifact
SAFE CHANGE BOUNDARY

No database migration, customer balance, pricing rule, settlement logic, live payment, or production configuration was changed. High-risk money behaviour stayed behind the existing test boundary.

VERIFIED RESULT

The handover includes proof—not “trust me.”

Real customer and operator screens were exercised using safe test data. The product still builds, and the targeted failures now have direct coverage.

WHAT THE FOUNDER RECEIVES

A release decision you can understand.

  • Prioritized findings in plain business language
  • Implemented fixes in the existing repository
  • Desktop and mobile proof of the critical journey
  • Passing test and production-build evidence
  • A transparent list of remaining risks and next actions

BEST FIT

This is for you if the app exists—but confidence does not.

  • You used Cursor, Claude, Codex, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, or another agent to build quickly.
  • The interface looks ready, but authentication, payments, deployment, or failure handling still worry you.
  • You need to launch, demo, or onboard paying customers without commissioning a full rewrite.
  • You want an engineer to fix problems—not simply generate another audit report.

BEFORE YOU ASK

What founders want to know before starting.

A launch-risk review should be easy to say yes to. These are the questions that usually come back in the first reply—answered plainly.

Will you rewrite my app?

No. The review deliberately leaves the product intact. I find where real customers can break, fix those paths, and prove the result—the rest of the codebase stays exactly where it is.

My app was built fast with AI. Is it too messy to audit?

That is exactly the kind of codebase this review is for. Foredawn is an AI-accelerated production app with 3,821 passing backend tests that still hid five launch-critical defects. Generated code can be hardened, not just rewritten.

How long does it take?

One focused week: audit, fix, prove, hand over. You receive a ranked risk list early, so you can stop after the audit if that is all you need.

What if the codebase is sensitive?

The default mode is read-only. I audit a local copy, walk through findings on a shared screen, and only touch code after you approve each fix. Nothing merges without your review.

How do I know the fixes actually work?

Every fix ships with the same evidence as this case study: exact before-and-after source, a passing targeted test, a real production build, and a browser session of the corrected customer journey.

What happens after the week ends?

You keep the fixes, the evidence, and a transparent list of remaining risks and next actions. No retainer and no follow-on work pushed—the next decision is yours.

START WITH ONE CRITICAL FLOW

Before adding another feature, find out what could lose the customer.

Send the repository, the product URL if one exists, and the one journey that matters most—signup, checkout, payment, booking, dashboard, or another revenue-critical action.

“I need a launch-risk review for my app. The critical customer journey is ______. My biggest concern is ______.”
  • Fixed scope: one week, one critical flow
  • No retainer, no full rewrite
  • Nothing merges without your review
  • Money-critical code stays untouched
